Doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the event will begin at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $5 for all attendees\, regardless of age or whether they choose to vote. \nTickets for the in-person event are now available at the door.\n \nRegister to watch the Live Stream & Vote:\n \n  \n  \n  \n  \nCandidates for the 2025 Tulip Queen include Ava De Jong\, daughter of Daron and Emily De Jong; Faith Elgersma\, daughter of Phil and Jen Elgersma; Mackenzie Huizenga\, daughter of Aaron and Kim Huizenga; Bridget Plender\, daughter of Blake and Marcia Plender; and Jaelye Woudstra\, daughter of Brandon and Kyndara Woudstra. \nTulip Queen candidates will give presentations on Orange City and will be interviewed by both the judges and emcees of the event. Attendees will have the opportunity to cast their vote for the 2025 Tulip Queen during the pageant. The 2025 Tulip Queen will be crowned as a conclusion to the event.

DESCRIPTION:The annual Orange City Tulip Festival Extravaganza will be held Wednesday\, March 21\, at Prairie Winds Event Center. The event features a luncheon starting at 11:30 a.m. with the program to follow during which the costumes for the Tulip Queen and Court are revealed and the parade marshals will be introduced. \nThe Tulip Court will also present their traveling road show for the first time. The road show\, which the festival royalty wrote and will present to various organizations\, schools\, and residential care facilities this spring\, tells of the events and attractions at Tulip Festival and gives a detailed overview of their costumes. \nTulip Court members for the Tulip Festival Queen Jaelye Woudstra\, daughter of Brandon and Kyndara Woudstra; Ava De Jong\, daughter of Daron and Emily De Jong; Faith Elgersma\, daughter of Phil and Jen Elgersma; Mackenzie Huizenga\, daughter of Aaron and Kim Huizenga; and Bridget Plender\, daughter of Blake and Marcia Plender. \nAn additional highlight will be a “teaser” of the upcoming Tulip Festival Night Show production of The Wizard of Oz the cast has been tirelessly rehearsing the show and some members will be present to share the progress with attendees. \nThe Dutch Dozen will also entertain attendees with a sample of songs from their performances during the Festival. \nTickets are $25 and are available now at the Tulip Festival Windmill Office on Hwy 10\, by calling 712-707-4510 or by clicking the ticket image below.
